  • Cedar Park to welcome sleep experts

    Mattress retailer Sleep Experts is to open 10 stores in the Texas area before the end of this year, including four in Austin. Cedar Park is just one of the areas to be welcoming a new mattress store. Sleep Experts was launched in 2003 by Chris and Christine Cook who used to reside in Austin, Texas. The Cooks have built a strong reputation for their company, offering excellent customer service and demonstrating a passion to help families who are in need.

  • Dog vaccines available at local grocery store

    According to recent data, $51 billion was spent on pets by doting owners in the US during 2011, and that figure is expected to rise by at least $1 billion in 2012. Owners can purchase everything they need for their pets, including dog vaccinations at a local Walgreens pharmacy spotted by Linda Austin, executive director of Reynolds Center.

One of the most versatile majors out there, Communications majors study everything from public speaking to journalism to graphic design and advertising, while some colleges and universities even offer more specific programs within the communications field, such as majors in communication disorders or printing technology.
